WHERE: The Belly Button Buddies television series will air on SCN!

 

WHEN: Saturdays and Sundays at 8:30 repeating at 14:30 beginning October 2nd. UNTIL THE END OF 2010

 

Our partners at SCN have first window for Manitoba and Saskatchewan airdates. The timing is wonderful, because on October 2nd the series will also air at MIP Junior in Cannes France.

 

BRIEF SERIES SUMMARY!

 

Short Synopsis for the Belly Button Buddiesâ„¢
Each episode of The Belly Button Buddiesâ„¢ provides an idea-filled wordless romp into the land of creative play. Everyday household objects are transformed by The Belly Button Buddy and her young friends into fun games allowing them to socialize as they learn, through discovery, some basic facts. This series is created for preschool children and their families.

 

 

 

 

Traditional Role Play

The activities shown on the first volume of Unplug Your Children are based on traditional role play. Children’s role play is an extension of what they experience in their lives. Traditional role play develops skills of listening, observing, communicating, co-operating, acting, organizing, and sequencing. Role play is also just good fun! The only thing caregivers need to provide is a space and some interesting stuff.

 

 

 

Once Upon a Time

The Belly Button Buddies™, a multi-faceted concept in children's entertainment, began in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1999. It is the delightful result of collaboration between visual artist Denyse Klette and writer-performer Nicole Haddock.
